(特別清算開始の申立て)
第五百十一条   債権者、清算人、監査役又は株主は、特別清算開始の申立てをすることができる。

(Petition for Commencement of Special Liquidation)
Article 511   Creditors, liquidators, Company Auditors or shareholders may file a petition for the commencement of special liquidation.

清算株式会社に債務超過の疑いがあるときは、清算人は、特別清算開始の申立てをしなければならない。

If it is suspected that a Liquidating Stock Company is insolvent, liquidators must file a petition for the commencement of the special liquidation.
